Job Description: The Business Development Associate is responsible for developing new business through relationships with C-Level Executives and leads the business development efforts in an assigned territory. This is a hands-on individual contributor role and a ground-floor opportunity with long-term career potential. |
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage new business development program to maximize company grow.
- Develop and implement a territory plan to target, penetrate and qualify new business opportunities.
- Use existing relationships with CFO’s and CEO’s to drive revenues while establishing relationships with prospects through consistent networking efforts.
- Introduce Optimatum’s market positioning and brand awareness strategy throughout business development efforts.
- Working with executive team and business analysts, develop and deliver strategic and statistical value prop.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly territory reviews.

Qualifications: Must possess and be able to demonstrate the following:
- 2-4 years recent experience in a sales producing role, preferably selling consulting services.
- Thorough knowledge of global business and healthcare issues.
- Proven success in selling services at the C-level.
- Strong current network of business and C-level contacts.
- Consistent track record of increasing revenue growth through new client development.
- Must be skilled at developing and presenting high‐level client proposals and financial valuepropositions.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent training in business or sales.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal & written communication and listening skills.
- Solid negotiation skills.
- An entrepreneurial spirit for making things happen and taking ownership of attaining results.
